MiG Website

もう MiG Japan Site の Favicon にお気づきのひとも多いと思いますが、なんと MiG の Official Site mug-music も最近下のような MiG の横顔の Favicon を付けました。サイトを訪問の際にチラッとアドレスバーに目をやってもらうと見れます。MiG 本人より早く付けたことがちょっと自慢です！取り付けの許可をいただいたときに、きっと MiG も付けたいなって思ったのかも知れませんね。

MiG in Hong Kong [9]

mig-music のカレンダーによると、MiG は8月8日に UK で QRSS に出演し、10日には Hong Kong で gig るようです。場所は、九龍(Kowloon)の尖沙咀(Tsim Sha Tsui)にある Shopping Center Elementsで行われる FLIRTING WITH SOUND と題されたイベントに出演することになってます。午後3時半から行われるそうですが、こちらに下記のようなスケジュールが載っています。また QUEEN の曲を熱唱し、楽しませてくれるんでしょうか？

九龍(Kowloon)の尖沙咀(Tsim Sha Tsui)は、5月に香港に行ったときに私が滞在してた街です。Brand Shop から昔からある老舗デパート、有名中国料理店や地元の食堂といった具合に新旧が混在し楽しい街でした。東京でいうと、銀座と渋谷と上野をミックスしたような繁華街です。私の滞在中に gig ってくれれば良かったのに・・・

QUEEN a Rock & Symphonic Spectacular [6]

また8月8日に MiG は QUEEN a Rock Synphonic Spectacular に出演します。MA のサイトには7月6日に Warwick Castle で行われたときの画像が GIF で出てました。一瞬ですが、MiG のこんな画像も写ってましたよ。まばたきすると見れないかも・・・

今度の会場となる Calk Abbey も　English Garden がありとても綺麗なところで、どこで撮影しても絵になります。花火の打ち揚げも予定されてるそうなんで、チケットの購入やコンサートの詳細は MA site で check　してね。

昨日 MiG の Blog が更新され、ツアー公演最終日を控えて昨年9月からのツアーを振り返っています。彼はツアー中、かけがえのない友人を2人も失うという予期しない悲しみを経験しています。火災や地震の現場の近くにいて、被災者の悲しみも目の当たりにしています。でも、異国の友達がいっぱい出来たことやツアーの仲間兄弟のように誇りに思っていると書いてます。 ♪ Goodbye everybody, I‘ve got to go. Got leave you all behind and face the truth...♪ と、WWRY の中で歌った歌詞で最後を締めくくってます。粋だねぇ！
タイ公演終了後、すぐロンドンに向けて出発するようですが、 MiG にはまだまだすることがいっぱい待ってるんですね。今日が Musical WWRY Paciffic Asia Tour の最終日ですが、期間中私達を楽しませてくれてほんとにありがとう。 Thank you for the amazing show. We had a good time with you, MiG. We will never forget your Galileo in WWRY.

Those were the days of our lives

I can’t believe I have come to the last day of the tour. 　Tomorrow will be the
final 2 shows of this journey which started in September last year. I have had such an incredible adventure.　It has been a voyage of discovery in
so　many　ways.　I　am　filled　with　so　many　mixed
emotions, but the overpowering one at the moment is sadness. I have made so many beautiful new friends on this tour.　Our touring company has been such a
joy to be a part of.　I am so proud of all of them.　In
many ways I feel like their big brother,　leading them
on this magical journey,　through strange and exotic
lands and witnessing the wonderment in their eyes.
From Johannesburg to Auckland to Seoul to Singapore to Hong Kong to Bangkok, this has been an extraor-
dinary tour that has changed my life.　I have learned
so much and grown so much and　I hope I leave this
tour a better man than when I started.　There are so many roads ahead,　and exciting journeys await me,
and I am so keen to get going on them.　But for the
moment,　I am just going to miss my new family,　as
most of them I will probably not see again for a very
long time.　I have grown to love them all.　They have
been my little world for such a long time,　and saying goodbye is breaking my heart.　I send them my love
and wish them well, and I hope they know how they have moved me, and touched my soul.

I am hanging up my ‘Galileo’ boots tomorrow and will miss him greatly too.　He has been a dear old friend
who never fails to bring me joy.

I leave Bangkok tomorrow night for London, and I say thank you to the Land of Smiles.　You have definitely smiled on me.

Story of WWRY

現在 MiG がタイで公演してる Musical 'We Will Rock You' ですが、歌われてる QUEEN の音楽だけでなく、あの素晴らしいステージデザインも注目されてます。この Paciffic Asia Tour も、会場のスペースの関係などで多少異なるものの基本的にはロンドン公演と同様のステージデザインです。それをデザインしたのは様々なショーやコンサートなど手がける Mark Fisher。
Janet Jackson のステージでも有名ですよね。　2007年の B'z の
Dome Tour も彼の所属する Stufish がデザインしたんですよ。
彼の WWRY Collection が公開されてますので、その作品をのぞいてみましょう。こちら(↓)にリンクしました。

As you know,　the Stage of　WWRY is designed　by Mark
Fisher.　So far　he has done　great　works　on　the　stage
design of shows and concerts,　such as Janet Jackson's
concert and Japanese Rock Band B'z concert 2007. Take a look at his works!

WWRY Thailand [7]

昨日から始まった WWRY タイ公演ですが、会場となる Muangthai Ratchadalai Theatre は、オープンしたばかりの新しいショッピングモール Esplanade Bangkok の4階にあります。4階は映画や Musical などを主に上演する Entertainment Complex になってるようです。これまでに Cats や Phantom of The Opera などが上演されたという。今でも開演前に全員座席から立ってタイ国歌を合唱するんでしょうか？MiG が歌ってくれればいいのに・・・
In Thailand,　there are manners and customs to sing a
national anthem before presentation of a movie and the drama.　If MiG sings,　the audence will be pleased.

下の画像の矢印のところが会場です。

中を見てみるとかなりゆったりとした空間になってます。きっと MiG はここでも CD を発売するんでしょうね。Universal Music はタイにもあるし・・・。この Esplanade Thailand ができて、地下鉄やバスで Siam Center まで出かけなくて済むと喜んでる若者が多いらしい。
I think MiG will release his CD in Thailand. Everone hope so, too. There is ... The Universal Music Thailand there. Woo, MiG is such a lucky guy !

WWRY Thailand [6]

いよいよ始まった WWRY タイ公演。そうそう、タイの MCOT dot NET に WWRY に関するこんな Quiz が出てましたね。 中央のボタンをクリックすると QUEEN の曲が流れるので、この曲名を当てると抽選でチケットでも当たるんでしょうか？タイ語が分からないので応募はできないけど、バンコクの人たちにはいいプレゼントですよね。

Make a wish to stars

きょうは七夕です。天の川が見れるかどうかわかんないけど、MiG の今後の成功を祈願して七夕飾りを作ってみました。MiG の出演するさまざまな gig 活動がうまくいきますように・・・これから始まる WWRY のタイ公演が成功しますように・・・次に出る 2nd Album が素晴らしいものになりますように・・・そして MiG を愛するファンと MiG 自身の幸せを祈っています。


Today we have a star festival here in Japan. We called it Tanabata. On this day, a bridge up once a year through the Milky Way　between　Altair -the shepherd star-　and
Vega -the weaving girl star- to meet. People worship the stars　by　writing　wishes　on colored paper,　which　they
hang on bamboo leaves just like that pic. So I wrote my wishes down on the paper. Isn't that romantic?

4th of July

きょうはアメリカ合衆国の独立記念日。 MiG は今 New York にはいないけど、アメリカの MiG ファンのみなさんに一言お祝いを言わせてもらいます。いつも MiG Japan Site に遊びに来てくれてありがとう。
