昨日 MiG の Blog が更新され、ツアー公演最終日を控えて昨年9月からのツアーを振り返っています。彼はツアー中、かけがえのない友人を2人も失うという予期しない悲しみを経験しています。火災や地震の現場の近くにいて、被災者の悲しみも目の当たりにしています。でも、異国の友達がいっぱい出来たことやツアーの仲間兄弟のように誇りに思っていると書いてます。 ♪ Goodbye everybody, I‘ve got to go. Got leave you all behind and face the truth...♪ と、WWRY の中で歌った歌詞で最後を締めくくってます。粋だねぇ！
タイ公演終了後、すぐロンドンに向けて出発するようですが、 MiG にはまだまだすることがいっぱい待ってるんですね。今日が Musical WWRY Paciffic Asia Tour の最終日ですが、期間中私達を楽しませてくれてほんとにありがとう。 Thank you for the amazing show. We had a good time with you, MiG. We will never forget your Galileo in WWRY.

Those were the days of our lives

I can’t believe I have come to the last day of the tour. 　Tomorrow will be the
final 2 shows of this journey which started in September last year. I have had such an incredible adventure.　It has been a voyage of discovery in
so　many　ways.　I　am　filled　with　so　many　mixed
emotions, but the overpowering one at the moment is sadness. I have made so many beautiful new friends on this tour.　Our touring company has been such a
joy to be a part of.　I am so proud of all of them.　In
many ways I feel like their big brother,　leading them
on this magical journey,　through strange and exotic
lands and witnessing the wonderment in their eyes.
From Johannesburg to Auckland to Seoul to Singapore to Hong Kong to Bangkok, this has been an extraor-
dinary tour that has changed my life.　I have learned
so much and grown so much and　I hope I leave this
tour a better man than when I started.　There are so many roads ahead,　and exciting journeys await me,
and I am so keen to get going on them.　But for the
moment,　I am just going to miss my new family,　as
most of them I will probably not see again for a very
long time.　I have grown to love them all.　They have
been my little world for such a long time,　and saying goodbye is breaking my heart.　I send them my love
and wish them well, and I hope they know how they have moved me, and touched my soul.

I am hanging up my ‘Galileo’ boots tomorrow and will miss him greatly too.　He has been a dear old friend
who never fails to bring me joy.

I leave Bangkok tomorrow night for London, and I say thank you to the Land of Smiles.　You have definitely smiled on me.

Make a wish to stars

きょうは七夕です。天の川が見れるかどうかわかんないけど、MiG の今後の成功を祈願して七夕飾りを作ってみました。MiG の出演するさまざまな gig 活動がうまくいきますように・・・これから始まる WWRY のタイ公演が成功しますように・・・次に出る 2nd Album が素晴らしいものになりますように・・・そして MiG を愛するファンと MiG 自身の幸せを祈っています。


Today we have a star festival here in Japan. We called it Tanabata. On this day, a bridge up once a year through the Milky Way　between　Altair -the shepherd star-　and
Vega -the weaving girl star- to meet. People worship the stars　by　writing　wishes　on colored paper,　which　they
hang on bamboo leaves just like that pic. So I wrote my wishes down on the paper. Isn't that romantic?

4th of July

きょうはアメリカ合衆国の独立記念日。 MiG は今 New York にはいないけど、アメリカの MiG ファンのみなさんに一言お祝いを言わせてもらいます。いつも MiG Japan Site に遊びに来てくれてありがとう。

WWRY Hong Kong [16]

香港の音楽雑誌 Headlines Magazine に WWRY の香港公演の記事が載っていました。 MiG は香港でも CD リリースをしたので、音楽雑誌に取り上げられてもおかしくはないんだけど、WWRY の内容だけでアルバムについては何も書かれていないようです。

この WWRY の香港公演をきっかけにアジアでも RockStar として浸透してくると信じてます。 MiG はステージパフォーマンスと MC が面白いので、ライブ向きかも。ちょっと Redbull でもひっかければ何曲でも歌ってもらえそうな、とっても気さくなひとですよ、MiG は。

きょう MiG は公式サイトの blog で、乳母の Emilia が脳卒中で Manila の病院に入院中であることを告白しています。 Emilia は MiG の家族に愛情だけを与えてくれた、第2の母親のような存在の人だと書いているので、MiG としては心配ですぐにでも駆けつけたい心境でしょう。 滞在先の Hong Kong のホテルに戻ると、彼女のことを思い、ため息がもれてしまうと素直に気が重い状態を私たちファンに打ち明けてくれている。

Evryone has a hard time in their life. MiG has exactry the time right now.　I wish I could help him somehow.　But　I
cannot　even　find　a　word　to　say　to　him.　I　feel　I am
miserable...　 'Cause I have no idea and no power to help him. I'll just pray for his Yaya Emilia.

MiG のシンガポール公演を祝福するように、ここ東京でも桜が見事に咲いています。今夜の初日舞台を前に、MiG は下記のようなメッセージを Blog に書き込んでいます。

これまで全ての準備が順調に進んできたことと、MiG 自身は時差ボケが残ってるもののいたって健康なこと。文中の ( knock on wood ) は、これまでは順調だったがこれからも「そうでありますように」という願いの言葉です。今回の会場となる Esplanade Theatre の素晴らしさについても言及しています。
また、Singapore の街 は現代的で清潔感がありながら、歴史上重要なものの保全も怠っていないことに驚嘆しています。気候は少しムシムシしてるが完璧で、人々の態度も非の打ち所がないほど素晴らしい！と絶賛！
Singapore は MiG の予想外のところで印象づけたようです。最後に「みんな、またやるぜ！」と公演に対する意気込みのあるところを見せてくれていますよ。これは楽しみですね。

Tonight　we　open　WE WILL ROCK YOU
in Singapore.　I am truly excited　about
playing　　to　 audiences　 here 　in　 the
magnificent Esplanade Theatre.
This building is incredible! It breathes, it moves, it thinks and tonight it's going to ROCK!　Everything so far has gone super smooth here (knock on wood). The crew are well oiled and the cast are pumped. I feel in great health despite some jet-lagging,　and　am almost breathless with anticipation!

Singapore　has　impressed　in ways　that　I did not　even
expect.　I knew I loved Singapore, but now this love has grown to jaw-dropping awe,　maybe even jealousy.　How come everything here works so well, so modern, so clean yet　they are also able to retain　the important　historical
aspects of the city that has made it what it is today.
The weather is humid and PERFECT!　The　people　are　so
overwhelmingly　beautiful　in attitude　and　truly　in every
way. I am yet to find a kink in the armour.

Overture,　light the lights,　this is it, we'll hit the heights, and　oh what heights we'll hit ?　On with the show this is
it!!

先月アメリカのお友達から、MiG の Official T-shirts をもらっちゃった。 S サイズはまだ購入可能なので、MiG ファンのあなた、今がチャンスですよ。大きさは日本男性の S サイズって感じで、小柄な日本女性にはちょ〜っと大きめかも。これからの季節は、見せ場がいっぱい！私は「歩く広告塔」として着て歩きますよ。見かけたら気軽に声をかけてくださいな。

海外の MiG ファンから、MiG グッズを取り扱ってるサイトを教えてもらいました。アクセサリーから衣類まで Rocker が泣いて喜びそうなものがビッシリ！

日本語のプリントされたTシャツがあるというのでのぞいて、今度はビックリ！「Japanese」と表示されたコーナーで、確かにTシャツには漢字が書かれていました。しかし・・・「来喜届　生月天迎生」？なんじゃこりゃ。意味不明の文字でした。おそらく中国語か何かで、「喜びを届けに来る、ミグ　アイエッサ」とかなんとかって書いてあるんですかね？お店の人はきっと日本語と中国語の区別がつかなかったんでしょう。

海外ではカッコよく見えるらしく漢字は人気があり、漢字もどきの文字をタトゥーに入れてる人も多く見かけます。強面の男性が太い腕に間違った漢字を入れてるのを見ると、「あらッ、カワイイ！」と思わず苦笑してしまいます。在日外国人や帰化した人も、自分の名前に漢字の当て字を使いたがりますよね。

MiG の場合はどうなるの？との質問に、「はて？」と考えてしまいました。頭の中をいろんな漢字がグルグル回り、ようやく見つけ出したのがこちら(↓)です。もっとカッコイイ漢字があったら教えてください。

やはりどの曲も人気があるので、ひとつの曲に集中しませんでした。 MiG の CD は日本で発売されていないこともあり、海外のファンからの投票が多かったようです。ちなみに私が購入したのは US 版ですが、UK版、Australia版、Philippines版と発売される国により収録曲が少し異なるので、追加投票をしてくれたみたいですね。ありがとうございます。

MiG の曲は聴けば聴くほど味が出てくるので、じっくり聴いて味わってもらえたらと思います。そして昨日 MiG からの White Day のプレゼント(？)と思えるほど偶然に、今まで MiG Official Site でしか見られなかった "She Loved" の PV が YouTube でも見れるように UP されてました。リンクできないのでその URL を紹介します。ブラウザのアドレスバーにコピペしてアクセスできます。上の画像からは MiG の PV サイトへ Click & Go !

MiG の All in One Blog Parts

MiG のファンが画期的な Blog Parts を紹介してくれたので、さっそく私も加えていただき貼り付けてみました。 MiG の最新 Blog や楽曲、Video の紹介、 WWRY などのパフォーマンスの日程、そして MiG グッズや曲の購入など様々な情報がこのひとつの widget に収められてるんです。どうです、画期的でしょ？

とても気に入ったので記事欄に縮小して入れましたが、実際はもう少し大きいんです。ほんとは縦長でサイドバーにプラグインできればいつも見れて嬉しいんだけど、サイズ的に無理でした。残念!!


MySpace にアカウントを持ってるひとは、「＋MySpace 」を Click するとこれと同じ物が自分のページにコピーできますよ。ただし、日本製ではないので英語表記のみとなってます。
