MiG in Hong Kong [9]

mig-music のカレンダーによると、MiG は8月8日に UK で QRSS に出演し、10日には Hong Kong で gig るようです。場所は、九龍(Kowloon)の尖沙咀(Tsim Sha Tsui)にある Shopping Center Elementsで行われる FLIRTING WITH SOUND と題されたイベントに出演することになってます。午後3時半から行われるそうですが、こちらに下記のようなスケジュールが載っています。また QUEEN の曲を熱唱し、楽しませてくれるんでしょうか？

九龍(Kowloon)の尖沙咀(Tsim Sha Tsui)は、5月に香港に行ったときに私が滞在してた街です。Brand Shop から昔からある老舗デパート、有名中国料理店や地元の食堂といった具合に新旧が混在し楽しい街でした。東京でいうと、銀座と渋谷と上野をミックスしたような繁華街です。私の滞在中に gig ってくれれば良かったのに・・・

QUEEN a Rock & Symphonic Spectacular [6]

また8月8日に MiG は QUEEN a Rock Synphonic Spectacular に出演します。MA のサイトには7月6日に Warwick Castle で行われたときの画像が GIF で出てました。一瞬ですが、MiG のこんな画像も写ってましたよ。まばたきすると見れないかも・・・

今度の会場となる Calk Abbey も　English Garden がありとても綺麗なところで、どこで撮影しても絵になります。花火の打ち揚げも予定されてるそうなんで、チケットの購入やコンサートの詳細は MA site で check　してね。

Songs From Musical CITY GYM

音楽といえば、2001年 MiG が Musical GREASE のツアー中にレコーディングした、Musical CITY GYM の曲があります。MiG は Keyboad を演奏しながら歌ってるとのことですが、彼自身の映像はボケたものしか出てませんので悪しからず。ただ昔の MiG の歌声というのがちょっと珍しいのでご紹介します。

WWRY Canada

7月16日から始まってる WWRY Canada のサイトに、上のような
MiG が飛びはねてる画像が使用されていて、彼は出演しないんだけどなんか嬉しいですよね。
この Tronto 公演のページはなかなかよくできていて、 Scaramouche 役の Erica Peck と Duff 役の Sterling Jarvis が会場となる Panasonic Theatre を案内するビデオ付きです。そてに WWRY の曲が聴ける Audio Player まで付いているんです。また、キャストの Blog なども公開してるし、WWRY のバナーなんかも Download できますよ。悔しいですが、PR 戦略ではやはり勝ってますね。

you'll have a fun. They have a video which introdudes
inside of the Panasonic Theatre　by Erica Peck　plays　as
Scaramouche and Sterling Jarvis plays as Duff in WWRY Toronto. Also they have the audio player on this site.
You can listen to the QUEEN's music, download some banners of WWRY,　read the blog of WWRY Toronto casts,　and so on. Promotions of WWRY Canada are so cool and better than WWRY Paciffic Asia. They beat it!

昨日 MiG の Blog が更新され、ツアー公演最終日を控えて昨年9月からのツアーを振り返っています。彼はツアー中、かけがえのない友人を2人も失うという予期しない悲しみを経験しています。火災や地震の現場の近くにいて、被災者の悲しみも目の当たりにしています。でも、異国の友達がいっぱい出来たことやツアーの仲間兄弟のように誇りに思っていると書いてます。 ♪ Goodbye everybody, I‘ve got to go. Got leave you all behind and face the truth...♪ と、WWRY の中で歌った歌詞で最後を締めくくってます。粋だねぇ！
タイ公演終了後、すぐロンドンに向けて出発するようですが、 MiG にはまだまだすることがいっぱい待ってるんですね。今日が Musical WWRY Paciffic Asia Tour の最終日ですが、期間中私達を楽しませてくれてほんとにありがとう。 Thank you for the amazing show. We had a good time with you, MiG. We will never forget your Galileo in WWRY.

Those were the days of our lives

I can’t believe I have come to the last day of the tour. 　Tomorrow will be the
final 2 shows of this journey which started in September last year. I have had such an incredible adventure.　It has been a voyage of discovery in
so　many　ways.　I　am　filled　with　so　many　mixed
emotions, but the overpowering one at the moment is sadness. I have made so many beautiful new friends on this tour.　Our touring company has been such a
joy to be a part of.　I am so proud of all of them.　In
many ways I feel like their big brother,　leading them
on this magical journey,　through strange and exotic
lands and witnessing the wonderment in their eyes.
From Johannesburg to Auckland to Seoul to Singapore to Hong Kong to Bangkok, this has been an extraor-
dinary tour that has changed my life.　I have learned
so much and grown so much and　I hope I leave this
tour a better man than when I started.　There are so many roads ahead,　and exciting journeys await me,
and I am so keen to get going on them.　But for the
moment,　I am just going to miss my new family,　as
most of them I will probably not see again for a very
long time.　I have grown to love them all.　They have
been my little world for such a long time,　and saying goodbye is breaking my heart.　I send them my love
and wish them well, and I hope they know how they have moved me, and touched my soul.

I am hanging up my ‘Galileo’ boots tomorrow and will miss him greatly too.　He has been a dear old friend
who never fails to bring me joy.

I leave Bangkok tomorrow night for London, and I say thank you to the Land of Smiles.　You have definitely smiled on me.
